These should be available to us via IRD from May 12th.

While it would have been nice if they'd matched Australia with their grants - I think this is a much more accessible gesture than what they originally attempted to do through the banks, who simply didn't play...

I believe they should be called Mortgage 'Extensions' which is what they really are! While we save 'cash' now, it will likely cost you a lot more than you think in the long run due to the impact of compound interest.
